Paid Social Media Manager

We’re excited to share that we’re now recruiting for a Performance Marketing Manager to join our Melbourne based team.

What does a Paid Social Media Manager do at Melbourne Social Co?

You will be tasked with strategising, managing and executing paid campaigns on behalf of our clients.

You will be working across a number of clients in our portfolio, managing paid social media advertising budgets. You are a person who lives and breathes social media, understands trends, knows what works when it comes to paid, and can create ads that convert.

You will work closely with our creative team, briefing in assets and requirements, and working collaboratively to bring campaigns to life. There is an opportunity to also work in content creation for a candidate who would like to incorporate this into the role.

You will be working both from home and from our studio/office space located on Collins Street in the CBD.

The ideal candidate has previous agency experience or has worked in an in-house role managing multiple paid social media accounts. We are open to part or full time applicants for this role.

The perfect candidate has the following:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Social Media (paid social across strategy and execution)
  • Solid understanding of the social media landscape (proficient across various social channels such as: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Experience working with large paid social media budgets
  • Proficient with social media reporting/metrics
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Proficient in briefing creatives/designers on social assets
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills
