UGC Content Packages

Your content will be delivered within 6-8 weeks of signing up to a UGC package. There may be some exceptional circumstances where this deadline needs to be extended, in which case we would discuss this with you as this arises.

We will work with you to set expectations early. You’ll receive everything you need to visualise the content beforehand, including which talent you’re working with, and what types of content they’ll be creating, so there won’t be any surprises!

Our team are social media experts and know what works for brands and platform algorithms – so it’s important you trust us and the process!

Yes, the content becomes property of your brand once you’ve received it and is available for use on your social media platforms.

No, the talent are not obligated to post this content on their own channels, however they may, at their own discretion, and tag/promote your business. Please let us know if you would prefer this didn’t occur.

Included in the fee is:

• Consulting session with client to understand the product/service and objectives
• Preparation of content brief, supplied to client for approval
• Briefing in the selected talent to create your UGC content
• Liaison with the selected talent to ensure your content is created to the highest standards
• Supply of content to client in a social media ready format, with one round of editing changes available (excludes reshoots)
• Paid usage for up to 12 months

Not included in the fee is:

• • The cost of purchasing your product – this will need to be supplied by your team
  • The delivery of product to the selected talent/s
  • The return of product from the selected talent/s, where required
  • Any other costs not factored into your package such as reshoots (charged at an hourly rate of $150+ GST), or travel if this is required to facilitate your content creation outside of 1 hour from Melbourne’s CBD

Your package will be charged in full on project booking. No refunds are available.

That’s up to you! In your consultation session, our team can give some topline advice on how to integrate this content into your overarching social media strategy, should you require this. The content will be supplied to you in a social media ready format, for ease of posting.

Yes, paid usage is included! Work with a diverse group of talent and utilise this content in paid social for up to 12 months. For use beyond 12 months, additional fees will apply. That being said, you would likely want to freshen up your creative every quarter.

Great question. What sets MSC apart from typical talent agencies is that we’re social media experts, not talent managers. We don’t push certain talent just to get a cut of their fee. We are brand-first, and our mission is to create great content that resonates on social media. We understand the platforms, their algorithms and what will work for your target audience, and then reverse engineer the UGC process to suit.

In short, no! This package is best suited to retailers or service providers. Some businesses unfortunately won’t suit this package, and if we identify this when you book, we’ll let you know and refund your payment immediately.

• This service is charged as a once-off fee, charged on project booking.
• The standard package term is 4 weeks. Exceptions may apply to this timeframe.
• This package includes one round of post production changes to supplied content.
• A reshoot would incur an additional fee, based on an hourly rate of $150 + GST per hour . We will discuss this with you should the situation arise.
• Please note, these costs are based upon the information provided by Melbourne Social Co within this document.
• This fee does not include any contingency for unanticipated issues or change requests on top of the inclusions outlined. If more time is required to complete a task than has been budgeted for, additional budget may be required. We will discuss this with you if this situation arises.
• This package is available to  new clients only.
• This package must be used within 12 months of purchase.
• When you purchase our UGC package, you are agreeing to Melbourne Social Co supplying you with content for use on social media platforms, based upon the brief you have supplied. Whilst we will aim to provide content that complies with current social media guidelines at any given time, all content supplied will be posted by you, the client, acknowledging that you have an understanding on your end as to what can and can’t be posted under the social media platforms’ terms and conditions. As the client, you accept full responsibility for everything that is posted on your social media channels. As we have not completed a social media strategy or full research audit on your brand, we are unable to provide definitive guidance on whether or not a piece of content complies with platform terms and conditions.
• As a brand, you understand and accept that the talent that appears in your content are acting as independent contractors and have no affinity or association with your business, and are not liable for any issues that might arise from the posting of this content.
