Meet Melbourne Social Co’s Director Shelley

I founded Melbourne Social Co back in 2011. Before that, my career was in journalism (newspapers and magazines), then marketing, as Marketing Manager for a Melbourne fashion and accessories label.

I brought my copywriting and marketing skill set to what was then a brand-new, fast-moving beast, social media, and founded one of the first social media agencies in Australia, helping businesses build their social footprint from scratch.

The agency has evolved a lot since then, and so has the industry. Today we’re a social-first production agency working with brands right across the country. Content creation sits at the core of what we do. It’s what we’re known for, and it’s what we do best.

I’m proud to lead a team of talented female creatives, and I love having the opportunity to mentor and grow our team in this industry.
