Melbourne-based floral start-up Brunswick Blooms has officially launched in New York City, marking its first international expansion and a significant milestone for the brand.
The campaign enabled Brunswick Blooms’ arrival on US shores to immediately garner substantial awareness, relevance and credibility with appropriate target demographics in a hugely competitive market.
Led by our team at Melbourne Social Co, the launch centred on a social-first strategy that combined storytelling, creator partnerships, and on-the-ground content to establish the brand quickly within the New York landscape.
At the heart of the campaign was a hero launch film, “The Order”, a cinematic piece that followed a single order from Melbourne to New York within 24 hours. The film positioned Brunswick Blooms as a premium, globally-minded brand, while providing a strong foundation for both organic and paid media.
To support the launch, the campaign focused on large-scale UGC seeding across New York, partnering with a broad network of over 100 local creators spanning lifestyle, fashion, work-life and self-care content.
Each creator received and shared handcrafted floral arrangements from Brunswick Blooms across their channels, generating a coordinated wave of real-life content across social platforms within a tightly-timed window.
Nick Gangemi, Founder of Brunswick Blooms, says, “At its core, Brunswick Blooms is about creating meaningful moments through flowers. Bringing that experience to New York, and seeing it shared in real time by so many creators, was incredibly rewarding and a true reflection of how we want the brand to grow globally.”
Creators followed a consistent brief, while retaining their own voice and audience, ensuring authenticity at scale. This created widespread visibility, strengthened trust and drove organic engagement and curiosity, with audiences actively asking where the product was from across multiple posts.
Shelley Friesen, Founder & Director of Melbourne Social Co, said the strategy reflects a broader shift in how brands need to launch in 2026.
“Launching into a market like New York requires more than a great product, it requires attention. Consumers don’t just want to be told a brand exists, they want to see it in the real world, across multiple touchpoints, from people they trust. That’s where creator-led social proof becomes incredibly powerful.”
“By focusing on volume, consistency and real environments, we’re able to build credibility much faster than traditional launch models.”
The New York launch signals the beginning of Brunswick Blooms’ global growth strategy, with further international expansion expected.
